Family Easter Clay Workshop: Sculpt a Spring Lamb

Sunday 29 March 2026

Enjoy being creative by sculpting your very own Easter lamb from clay! This fun relaxing workshop is suitable for all the family.

You will make a beautiful clay lamb using the pinch pot technique and the tutor will demonstrate the process in step-by-step stages. You will also be shown decorative ideas for adding its woolly coat so that each sheep will be truly unique. Alternatively, if you prefer to make a flat hanging lamb you can add its woolly coat to a clay shape, templates will be provided. When you have finished creating your piece, you will add colour using brush on glazes to bring it to life.

Your finished lamb will be carefully kiln fired by the tutor and can be collected from the Weald and Downland once ready.

£30 per person. Children must be aged 6 years and over and be accompanied by one adult. If the adult would also like to make clay Christmas decorations, please buy an additional ticket. Any additional adults must purchase an entry ticket for the day. Fee includes entry to the Museum for those who want to stay and explore further after the workshop.
