Create an Easter Hare – family clay art workshop

Are you looking for a creative activity to share with a child, grandchild or younger sibling? This creative workshop is suitable for children aged 6 years and over accompanied by an adult.
During the session you will learn about how the symbol of the Easter Hare can be traced back through the years. You will be able to create a hare tile with clay using templates provided or you can draw your own hare. The hare can then be decorated with clay flowers and patterns using cutters and wooden stamps provided by your tutor. Finally, you will be able to add colour to your Easter Hare by painting it with underglazes.
Your piece of artwork will be taken away by your tutor to be fired in her electric kiln and can be collected from the Weald and Downland Living Museum at a later date (usually 2-3weeks).
This ticket covers one adult and one child as a pair.
