Honey & Beeswax: Super Natural Formulations

Learn how to make cosmetics containing natural honey and beeswax. You do not need special equipment and having completed the course will be able to make these recipes in your kitchen.
During the session, Sara will demonstrate how to make lavender chamomile soap, a beeswax soap that you can use the same day you make it (no waiting eight weeks to cure). Coloured with alkanet root, you can watch the pH change from red to green to purple as the soap processes—a little magic.
Participants will make two other skincare products. Solid honey salt scrub is an exfoliating mixture of coarse sea salt and honey, formulated in tablet form to minimise packaging - as fun to make as it is easy! The final product you will make is a beeswax face & body moisture cream. This fantastic cream can be made in a few variations and will keep you moisturised from head to toe (or from A to Bee if you prefer).
